HEAD COACH
Coach Lula

I have been coaching at Exchange for 5 years and this will be my second season
as head coach! I primarily coach lane 1 but love to bounce around and see everyone
swim. In the fall I will be a sophomore at Tulane university, majoring in Spanish and
Linguistics. My favorite part of the season are champs and the psych up picnic, I can’t
wait for another awesome summer in the pool!

Coach Logan
Hi my name is Logan, and this will be my 2nd year coaching for the Exchange Pool. I’ve been swimming for over 13 years, I’m passionate about helping swimmers of all levels improve their skills and confidence in the water. Through my years of swimming, I've developed a deep understanding of technique, safety, and making learning fun and effective. My hope is that I can make your kids better and feel more confident in their abilities to swim.

Coach Louisa
Hi my name is Louisa and I am a rising senior at Chapel Hill High School. This is my 2nd year coaching and guarding at the Exchange and I love being at the pool! I swim with YOTA swim team and this is my 10th year. I can’t wait to see everyone and have a great summer!

Coach Kyla
Hi! I'm Kyla and this will be my second year coaching for the Exchange. I have been doing club swimming for the past 5 years, and there's no place I'd rather be than the pool. I can't wait for this summer and look forward to meeting everyone!

Coach Marion
Marion is a rising senior at Chapel Hill High School, though she still considers Puerto Rico her true home (even if the weather in Chapel Hill isn’t quite as sunny). Growing up surfing and snorkeling in paradise, she now finds herself playing high school softball with her sister Helena and swimming on the high school team—because why settle for one sport when you can do both? This summer, Marion’s keeping busy coaching at the Exchange Pool, lifeguarding, and pretending to be a college student while taking courses at UNC. If you need her, she’ll either be in the pool or trying to remember what homework is.

Picture
Coach Helena
Helena is a rising sophomore at Chapel Hill High School and officially coaching for the first time this summer—though she’s been junior coaching for the past two years and already knows her way around the pool deck. She plays both swim and softball at CHHS, usually with her sister right by her side (because why not keep the competition in the family?). When she’s not in the water or on the field, you can probably find her soaking up the sun, hanging out with friends, or figuring out how to balance sports, school, and sleep. Coaching is her favorite way to spend her time, and she’s excited to help younger swimmers have their best summer yet.
