Hey everyone! My name's Alex and this is my 5th year as the Exchange Pool's head coach! I have been a part of this pool since I was little and just absolutely love it here. I am so excited to be back to see new and familiar faces. Looking forward to an amazing season!

Olivia Reece
Hi everyone! I’m Olivia, and this is my 3rd year coaching on Exchange. I have been swimming since I was 10, and I currently swim on NCAC. I love working with all the swimmers and I look forward to another summer of coaching. I can’t wait to see everyone in the water - I know we are going to do great this summer! 
Lula Caress
This is my second year being a coach at EXSC, it is also my second year being a lifeguard here. I will be a junior in high school at Chapel Hill High next fall. My hobbies include swimming and traveling, I will be doing a study abroad program in Spain for a month this summer 
Izzy Bashara
Hi! My name is Izzy Bashara, and this will be my first year coaching at EXSC. I've loved being in the water since I was a kid, and I'm excited to be able to share my love of swimming. I am currently a senior at Middle College Highschool, and I will be moving to London in the fall to attend university. I love working with kids and I am looking forward to meeting new people. I can't wait to have a great summer with everyone! |
Amelia Schumacher
Hi my name is Amelia Schumacher, and I am one of our TEST coaches this year. This will be my second year coaching and 8th year on the team! I am 16 years old and have been in the water my entire life. I started my swimming career with lessons before I joined EXSC and I found my love for swimming. I have been on YOTA, swimming year-round, for 6 years now and absolutely love it. I will also be a lifeguard and a swim lesson instructor at Exchange this year. I am so excited to work with the kids and have another great summer league season.

Hi my name is Luca! I swim for the YOTA swim team and have been swimming year-round for almost 6 years. My favorite strokes are freestyle and butterfly. Some things I like to do outside of swimming are hiking, playing with my dogs, being with my friends and family, playing and listening to music, and meeting new people. I'm really looking forward to this summer and can't wait to meet everyone! |
